A medical transport aircraft traveling from Bermuda to Boston disappeared early Saturday morning with six people aboard, all now presumed dead after the US Coast Guard suspended its search operations. The Gulfstream G-100, operated by Canadian company Latitude Air Ambulance, lost contact with aviation authorities around 1:00 AM local time after the pilot declared an emergency due to electrical problems and communication failures. The aircraft was carrying four Canadian crew members along with a patient and family escort, both Bermudian nationals, when it plummeted dramatically from 24,000 feet to 11,000 feet before disappearing from radar.
